Moomin Catch Pocket Square

Sale price$60.00

A multipurpose pocket square in shades of green, yellow and white. FatCloth for Moomin – Catch. The sea always had an important role to play in Tove Jansson's mesmerizing stories. In this particular scene Moomintroll and his friends chase the monster fish Mameluke. First they try conventional baits and hooks with poor luck. Following Snorkmaiden's idea they then turn to painter as line, pocket knife as hook and pancake as bait.

When your first strategy fails it's good to have a plan B ready. Just like Snork's pocket knife, Vincent finds many surprising everyday uses for his dear FatCloths. Better keep one at hand every time you leave home for another adventure.

What happened with the Mameluke? You can find out more from the book Finn Family Moomintroll.

Why FatCloth?

Most pocket squares are decorative at best and useless at worst. A FatCloth is made from high-grade microfibre — the same material used in professional lens cloths — which means it looks the part in your breast pocket and actually does something useful when called upon. Machine washable, wrinkle-resistant, and built to last.

In short: silk looks better in a display case. A FatCloth works better everywhere else.
