FatCloth × Mucha — The master of Art Nouveau meets the modern gentleman
Vincent's favourite artist Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939) was a Czech illustrator whose sinuous, ornate posters defined the Art Nouveau movement at the turn of the 20th century. His work — characterised by flowing lines, botanical motifs, and elegantly posed women — remains among the most recognised and widely reproduced art in the world, over a century after it was created.
The FatCloth × Mucha collection is a tribute to that legacy: four limited-edition pocket squares adapting Mucha's original compositions into wearable accessories for the modern gentleman. Each design is drawn from authenticated works in the Mucha Foundation archive and printed on FatCloth's signature 185 g/m² microfibre — silky enough to sit in a suit pocket, practical enough to clean your glasses between meetings.
Flirt draws its theme from Mucha's playful cookie ad. Winter captures the stillness of his seasonal series. Flower translates his botanical romanticism into warm pastels. Painting brings his richest, perhaps most complex palette to the world of pocket squares.
These are not reproductions — they are interpretations designed to work in a 30×30 cm format while preserving what makes Mucha's work instantly recognisable: the line, the colour, the quiet confidence of the composition. They don't call Mucha the first graphic designer for nothing. Just imagine what he could have done with today's image editing tools.
A perfect gift for anyone who appreciates art history, fine accessories, or simply owning something genuinely different. And considerably easier to carry around than the originals.
